We were also looking at the kete with the piece of paua attached on the following website, I couldn't download a picture to attach to my thread on this forum

FH was able to get pieces of paua (about 50) off ebay. I will get the woven flax bags (approx 5cmx5cm) and DIY with ribbon and the paua pieces.

From the above place we are getting the invitations with the woven flax backing and the paua attached. I have found a dress maker in Auckland who can make my wedding dress. In my pictures the dress with the green panelling on the bodice, well, picture that with a green paua panelling and then coming from the back round to the front. She quoted me NZ$850. So I'm happy.....Would love to know what you have planned so far.
