I must admit I don't have a prob with strippers either .... but that's me.

I can also understand that some girls do - so I do feel for you hun but like the other girls have said - it's so not worth the stress if he's just looking - if it goes beyond that - then yeah - you do have a prob.

I guess it just comes down to trust.

Don't worry too much Jess....someone I know is a stripper - she hates it...but only does it to survive. Most girls who are strippers aren't in it for the being naked part in front of total strangers...

I don't have a problem with my partner going to a stripper, it's just one thing that guys seem to want to do cause I guess as you say it's a guy thing.

As far as the strippers thing goes, just wanted to say please don’t beat yourself up for being worried, or think that your opinion/feelings are not valid – you have every right to feel upset if its something you don’t agree with or like the thought of, so firstly don’t worry about people telling you to get over it or not stress about it. I am very lucky to have a husband who hates strippers, thinks they are tacky and slutty and believes that going to see them would be betraying my trust – and I feel the same way about myself seeing a male stripper, I think its not right somehow in a relationship. So I completely understand how you feel.

I really think you need to let your fiancé know how you feel – he may not be aware of just how much this is upsetting and stressing you out. He loves you and I’m sure would not want to hurt or upset you. Talk to him, he may feel more comfortable doing something else for his bucks, like skirmish or a brewery tour or something. Let us know how you go hun – all the best!

Jesska I understand how you feel. I don't have a problem trusting my fiance however I wouldn't like the idea of him going to see a stripper. He says himself he has me at home so why would he need to see somebody else naked? However like the other ladies said sometimes boys do this sort of thing as a bonding thing, I don't personally understand what's wrong with a BBQ but if this is really want he wants to do and you trust him then maybe it will be better for both of you if you let him have his night. He may be doing this because he doesn't feel comfortable telling his BM that it's not what he wants and maybe he feels caught between you two and is trying to keep the peace? But I do understand how you feel. Maybe you could suggest other things for them to do that don't involve strip clubs and see if he likes the sound of them?

Oh, and as a staunch feminist, I need to completely, totally, 100% disagree with the argument that ‘boys just to that’ ie go to see strippers. If its okay for guys to do it, just being guys, it should be okay for girls too :)
Unless they are equally happy for their partners to see naked men, then they are hypocrites – ‘what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander’ and all that lol!

how many of us look at a fit/toned shirtless guy and say "he's hot".

My Dh doesn't care if I see strippers either, we both know it is all in good fun. The stripper that was organised for me we have seen him at least 4 times since then as he was pretty hot. My DH thinks its pretty funny. Also saw Wild boys afloat for mine and another girls birthday.

(oh and I have to say I actually enjoy going to the strip clubs myself, often! the girls are fantastic the way they move (looking from dancers eyes), some are a bit dodgy but most are fine)..

I plan on going to a stip club on my hens night, but a male revue one :) If its good for the goose its good for the gander!!
