Cake Pictures
Everyone please post the cake you have chosen or have had in this thread. I thought this might be a good reference for people.
Ours had 2 tiers. The top Caramel Mud Cake and the bottom Cherry Ripe Choc Mud cake. It cost around $400 and served 70 coffee portions. ![]() |

Here is my beautiful cake! 3 tiers - Top (keep) Chocolate Mud, Middle White Mud, Bottom Almond Torte. Was so so so yummy! No left overs. Cost was around $500 and served a slice of each (except chocolate) to each guest and were big slices! Made by the wonderful Faye Cahill ![]() |

All these cakes are awesome... I want cake now... :)
~**Jen**~ Ohh Jade and Missy beautiful cakes!! Jade how special is that, it was made with love and the flowers were fresh from the garden! ** Thanks Jen. I actually didn't want a cake as we had dessert included in the packages but I got talked into it. Then I only agreed to a single tier cake and ended up getting two tiers...Then I didn't want it cut at the wedding and have it afterwards with friends and family and almost got talked into having it served, but my dad stood up for me... dad rules.... I don't want to sound ungrateful, it was a beautiful thing to do for us, but there was some tension and pressure around it. Plus, MIL wants to put up the photo of DH and I cutting it which is so far from being the nicest photo of us, she reckons that its because of the roses and the love that they mean, but it's really because she made the cake. I refuse to give the negative to her... ![]() Oh, that was b*tchy wasnt' it.... Sorry! It was made with lots of love and it was divine to eat........ |

It is ashame that you got a cake that you didn't want but even worse got a style that you didn't want as well! People forget about who's day it is and that sometimes you don't need to follow what is concidered "tradition". All the same it is beautiful ![]() |
