The invites will be cream.

The bonbonierre will have sugared almonds in ornate lace tied to the back.

I haven't got a veil yet, am thinking fingertip length and a variation of that hairstyle. I want my hair up and away from annoying me all night

These are my shoes. I found them at Alan Pinkus for over $100 less than the original price Sorry that picture is really small! They have a very realistic and comfortable 7 cm heel and are beaded. I love them and they are so comfortable; I know I will be able to wear them all day :)

They do some beautiful work and although they may be a little pricey, we feel its definitely worth it!

So I approved the printing of the invitations today...it's all getting real and soooo close now!

I have my make up trial tomorrow which is really exciting and a little nerve racking...and I will be having my hair trial next week.

We have our tasting at the reception venue this week also...stay tuned for the final menu!

This is my FG's dress, only its in ivory -not the pictured fuschia. With the matching bolero - again in ivory not the fuschia


Her dress is kind of 'mini me' as we both lace up at the back. Collective *naawwwww*


I bought her a little ivory fur cape too. I will try to find the website's pic for at as the photo is on my phone and the stupid software that came with the phone won't install on my laptop! Grrr to that

I have been trying to find a cape for me too but with no luck. So was browsing Alfred Angelo this morning and found this. Will let you all know if I get it!

Also found this but think its a bit detailed for my frock which already has a lace beaded and boned bodice. Still very pretty though.

Oh and we mailed our invitations last night! Yee haa, people in the same state as us should have them by Friday!! They looked lovely, so elegant.

Yay!! Some RSVPs are coming in - and in the form of lovely little cards via snail mail. I didn't realise that is was looked upon as such a quaint tradition; I hope everybody does it! I want to keep them.

I am taking my dress to a bridal store for alterations tomorrow, I wonder what they will say. I took it to one lady who said it was a really hard job and I felt like she really didn't want to do it.

Oh - we had our tasting last week. So delicious, looking forward to the reception!

I will post the menu when I can find it amongst the wedding folder!
