Flowers in Melbourne... Is this a good price?

I was at the bridal expo on the weekend, and got a rough quote for my bridal bouquet and my girls and I am wondering if it is a good price?

Brides: $150 - $180
Bridesmaids: $100 - $150
Buttonholes: $5 per flower

How much did/are you paying?

Does anyone have recommendations for florists in the east of Melbourne?

They are about the same as Sydney prices so I would assume they are ok. I paid a little more for my buttonholes but the bouquets were about the same.

FH nearly had a heart attack when I told him the cost, but I thought that would be the rough price...

Main cities like Sydney and Melbourne are really expensive because they have such a high demand. I was lucky my DH never questioned prices He just said "whatever makes you happy!"

I think that my FH has decided it is safer to just let me organise it with questions

It was good talking with the florist though, as I want a somewhat unusual combination, it was nice to find someone that would be willing/able to do it.

I'm having Roses, Gerbra's and Tulip's. The first two are my favourites and the third is the first flower FH gave to me

It is had to find someone that is willing to use the gerbra with the two smaller flowers, but done right, it can look really nice
