Thanks SS that made my day was on a real downer before I read your message.
This is my second marriage first time I was 21 and ex-hubby was 38. So decided I want a younger one this time. More fun and less baggage. He keeps me young and on my toes all the time.

oh no now i feel really bad everyones husbands are the same age or older im 25 and will be when im married but FH will only be 20 and i met him when he was 18 and i was 23 is that really wrong? he is very mature for his age(19) but does anyone think i have taken the toy boy thing to far :( ?

Oz is marrying a younger man. Age means nothing, if your in love and you treat each other right that is all that matters. Anyone that says otherwise is not worth listening too. Congratulations on your engagement.

thanks i do know thats all that matters i just worry sometimes im stealing his youth lol because he is so young. And yes ihave had alot of people say im horrible and that i am too old for him lucky we have supportive familys though

Just remind them that you are only as young as you feel and he makes you feel young. I know that works for me with the 8 year age gap. Seems to run in FH's family as his brother and partner have the same gap and they get on as well as we do. The older the male the more set in their ways I think (after going much older and younger.) Give me younger any day...lol

People have got to put their thoughts into words but just remember the old saying, sticks and stones......etc. As long as you and your man are happy dont let those words hurt you.

And I wasnt going to say about the person your feeling...lol...but I was thinking it....hahahahaha


Oh and the toyboy thing is wrong. I was once told that to work out if your partner is a toyboy is to take your age and halve it then add 5....and I dont think it is legal for a 17 1/2 yr old to marry..lol..

yeah there is quite an ages gap between my man and i (about 7 years with him being the younger one) i can tell you i coped the "craddle snatcher" type comments many times - but everybody has pretty much accepted it now.
