Gilliy's Wedding!
OMG..... Girls, I have to say, I had the BEST day of my life yesterday and I cannot believe that I am now MRS Bridges and I have a Husband and I am a wife!!! lol... I seriously am so happy with how my wedding went... It was just beautiful....
xoxoxooxoxoxox I couldn't sleep the night before the wedding, I was just way to excited - but eventually I did... And I woke up at 5.30am.... I heard the wind and looked I got up and looked outside and the ground was dry and it was a great feeling to see that.... We headed to the hairdresser at about 8am to have our hair and makeup done.... By the time we got home, it was 12pm and the photographer was due at my mums house at 12.15pm... My Dad had cut up heaps of fruit for us and some sandwiches - so we had some of that and then we got dressed! The photographer came and did his thing - he was unreal and I cant wait to see the pics.... The time just went sooooo FAST and before I knew it, we were off and leaving for the ceremony... On the way, in the cars it started to rain - but only lightly - thankfully, when I got to Linton Gardens, the rain had stopped and it had only sprinkled out there and I was still able to have my beautiful garden wedding.... Seeing Kirtis standing at the end of the isle just took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. I love him so much and he just looked so handsome... My Dad walked me down the isle and it took us both so much to not cry. The ceremony was just beautiful.... I loved it all and it went smoothly and the rain stayed away... Before I knew it, I was Mrs Bridges and I was kissing the man of my dreams and my Husband.... After the ceremony - we had photos done with all of our friends and family - and the staff came around with some champagne and wine and beer for everyone! Then the bridal party went off for some more photos... We had soo much fun doing them.. And I think Kirtis and I got a million kisses in during this time... lol Our reception started at 5.30pm and I walked in and the room was just amazing.... So gorgeous and elegant and simple. I just loved it.... It was so special... We had a gorgeous buffet dinner.... Then we had speeches - and Kirtis made the most beautiful and heartfelt speech to me it was just soo nice.. I said a few words and thanked everyone and then it was time for the dances... Kirtis and I did our dance to A whole new world - we learnt a short dance in one day - we did it, we made a few mistakes but we had sooo much fun doing it - it was the best... lol... Then my Dad and I did our Father /Daughter dance - we did something a little special - I will try to download the video to show you... It was just awesome and it brought the house down... The end of the night came way too soon..... Before I knew it, we were having our farewell circle and I was hugging everyone goodbye... They did the arch for us to leave and I ran through it at least 10 times I think... haha.. That was fun... lol... My sister had a limo waiting for us to take us to our 5 star accommodation for the night at Magenta SHores - which was unreal - (i booked the room the night before - I got a $400 room for $180 including a full buffet breakfast lol)... Anyways, to cut a long story short - and Im sorry If I have dragged it on a bit, I had the most amazing wedding and it was everything and more I could have ever hoped for... Nothing went wrong (that I know of lol) and I was so relaxed I was shocked... haha... It was just awesome and Im still running high on Adrenalin... lol... I am now officially MRS BRIDGES and I am LOVING It!!!!! Thanks to all of you girls for reading this far and thanks for all being so lovely! Luv and Cheers Gill xoxxo
