I feel your pain

One of hubbys best mates had a huge falling out with hubbys brother a year and a bit ago - LONNNNNNG story - both at fault - both 13 yr old girls... (both bro and best mate were really good mates as well)

hubby didn't want to ask his mate as his mate and bro were not on speaking terms.. (thought our day would be ruined) but in the end he did ask him and they were all fine on the day.. he had to make a decision when I had to order the BM dresses as I needed to know if I had to get 2 or 3 !!!! Lucky I'd told my older sis (was always going to have my 2 sis's and BF) from day one if Hubby went with 3 would she be a BM

but gosh - it took over a year to get hubby to sort it out...

Brad was like that with his Best man. He would be over like every Saturday and I would pull Brad aside and ask him if he was going to ask him and he would say not tonight. Anyway the best man ended up asking Brad if he had picked his bestman yet and Brad said yeah you.......... He has 1 maybe 2 more GM's to pick (we have 1 and half a GM at the moment).....

Good luck love!! Bahaha!!!

I gave Mike 3 things to sort - the dj, the suits and the wedding night accomm

I booked the dj after checking him out and talking to him - din't get annoyed then cause I took it upon myself to organise it...

I NAGGED and NAGGED and NAGGED and - well, you get the idea - about the suits until I started talking to the suit hire places in June and they said if you want suit for an Oct (aka - SPRING) wedding you will need to book in next few weeks...we needed to get our nephew, who FBIL only has every second weekend and he has footy on Sats, Best man is FBIL so they were sorted at same time, my son who WE only have every second weekend and at that stage it was the OPPOSITE weekend, GM and FH all together and avail at same time!!! Lucky my ex and I are pretty easy/flex and we sorted it - when I just booked it according to Josh(nephew's) footy and said "Be there!!!!"

Wedding night STILL not booked - by the time he gets around to it there will BE nowhere except the exxy places which we can't AFFORD!!!! AAARGH!!

I reckon they do it like when you first start at a new job and it's your turn to make coffee, you should always make a crappy one - so ppl don't ask you to do it again? They leave it long enough so we just do it...

ATM our bug bear (other than accomm) is the GM's gifts....he still can't make his mind up!!!! Grrr

i found that if you look at options for most of the things and narrow it down to two or three options and then ask fh it wont seem so daunting and that way he'll have an input but it will be choosing from things that you already want. my fh was like this to start with, but has gotten better since it is getting closer, but he was pretty good with his groomsmen, we knew are wedding party before our engagement party.
