To tie? Or not to tie?

i let him choose everything... he's still iffy abotu the tie but we've got them if they want to wear them and they don;t have to if they don;t want to... i'm just worried his waistcoat is the wrong colour but i have to wait until i get my dress on Monday (was supposed to get it last night) so i can sneak into the store and see if they match

we chose the suits together - FH already new what he wanted and was offended when anyone tried to offer suggestions really was a pain in the butt because he couldn't describe what he wanted... lucky in the shop he was more open to opinions once i could see what he was trying to say.

I am letting Jazz have some say in the cut of the suit and he has told me point blank what he isn't wearing, but we have comprimised on most things... The non negotiable is the tie... He doesn't like wearing them cause he feels like he is at work, but no tie doesn't work with the look I am going for.

I told FH he should choose something he feels comfortable in and I don't care if he wears a suit or not. After all, us brides wouldn't like it if our men told us what to wear to our wedding. He ended up taking me with him and buying a brown suit with a cream shirt and no tie.

damn I thought this thread was going to be about sashes on chair covers LOL!

Lots of modern looks aren't using ties and if you aren;t getting married in a formal setting (ie Church) I don;t think it's really necessary anymore...... let him decide!

my fh chose the suits, the colour of the ties/vests everything and did a damn good job.

i let FH pick and i didnt want him to wear a tieor vest, just white shirt jacket and pants but he wants the whole thing. vest and tie so thats what hes getting'

Strangely enuf Col didnt want 2 wear a suit at first, but recently he went in2 Lowes to have a sticky beak nd found a suit for $80. I was kinda shocked at first, not of the price but the fact he was considering wearing it lol

He tried it on, but wouldnt show me, but said he liked the look of it so asked if we could layby it .... Damn straight we could, he also grabbed a new belt..

We are looking into having a beach wedding nd have said no ties neways .... so his black suit, shirt nd possibly dress shoes or thongs will b perfect... I so cant wait 2 see him dressed up ..

omg no way lol! i dictated what was to be worn and how they had to wear it! (DH's groomsmen all have a bad habit of not tucking their shirts in)
