that sounds lovely...mmm..pampering...
What we were thinking of having is a combined hens and bucks night with all of our friends, workmates etc which we cannot invite to the wedding. Perhaps a nice dinner out somewhere with a few drinks etc. Due to size of church we cannot have everyone to the wedding, so we thought this might work. Is it impolite to ask people to pay for their own meals and drinks?

I will be on my wine tour hens day. Will be asking them to put in for the hire bus as well.
Not sure how to word it yet so if come up with something I'd love to read it.
I'm sure that people will understand that weddings use up every spare dollar and wouldn't mind paying their way.

I just went to a friends Hens night and paid for my dinner. Everyone there was happy to do it.

A few more ideas are:

*In home massages, facials, and all round pampering
*Chocolate walking tour (My favourite! I have hinted very strongly at this to my MOH
*Dinner theatre (can be fun)

Mad hatters tea party with Alice in wonderland theme
Bridal shower with Tupperware pamper party (and wishing well for bride to buy plastic) or same thing with Luvawear (lingerie & toys) instead!

these are the things that i told my chiefs bridesmaid that i'd like to do - go to a burlesque show, have a pole dancing hens package, go to dinner theatre or have a henna painting hens night
