we got married on 07/07/07 and got in early and made sure we said 7th July when booking things. We were later told by a lot of our suppliers that if they had have realised the demand for that date they would have had a surcharge.

Yeah 08/08/08 is a hugely popular date this year.
The last Saturday in November (Spring) is always hugely popular.

yeah i made sure we booked a year in advance as that's all our venue would let us do and we got the date we wanted 22/11/08 :)

I think valentines would be romantic - expensive tho and i agree some guests may be annoyed as much as they love you they may want to spend that day alone with their loved ones.
