That is a great idea! And it's one that can even be combined with other ttd things, as we are having a celebration for four days and even if I say get wet at the end of our reception I can easily dry the dress and wear it again the next night or so and have people sign it then. The only catch that I can see would be that my dress is so heavily adorned, lots of beadwork, embroideries, lace and so on, and therefore not a very ideal canvas. I guess it could work if they use filt tip pens or paint plus a small brush, but maybe this would come off better if I'd wear my dress from the pre wedding party the night before. That is a plain silk gown with no extras on it and I'm sure that on that writing on that one would not be much harder than in a book, if you use a small filt tip pen or similar.

Hey, I'm starting to wish I'd done it now!
(well - kinda! I dont' think I could, and my mum would have had a heart attack!)

Well if there's something that you didn't do at your wedding but that you would want to go for you can maybe take it for one of your anniversary celebrations instead.. As for the mother part - well I hope that none of my relatives will get any heart attack from what ever we'll do !

But I think that most of them know that I can get some wild ideas sometimes....and as for my mom I can always give her a hint beforehand so that she won't get shocked.
