Im back! - Wedding Forum

Oh my god I am back and now a wife!! We had the most PERFECT day. It seriously was. I was worried about 3 things: Getting a cold sore, the weather and DS being naughty during the ceremony. We had a rehersal the day before and DS was an absolute TERROR, so I was skeptical, but he was an angel and Im happy to report all three were perfect! The weather was gorgeous, blue skies and hardly any breeze and not a coldy in sight!

The girls and I stayed at the resort the night before and hung out finsihing some last minute things, watching wedding movies and having some wine. My sis and I woke up at 5.30am and decided to go wake everyone else up, so we all went to the shop at 6am in our PJs to get the newspaper. We had 3 little notices in there and a social news write up about our wedding! (thanks mum and MIL

lol) We went down to breakkie in our PJs aswell (I bought them all matching ones) and the rest of the morning was a blur of hair, make up and food!

The room we had overlooked the ceremony deck and there was a wedding before ours out there so we watched that. A couple of hours beforehand, DH sent up a car and present for me to the room. The card made me cry and the present was stunning. It was the bracelet I had been eyeing off! So I got to wear that on the day. MIL and my mum sobbed when they read the card too. After that no one could look at me or talk to me without me tearing up! haha.

The ceremony was beautiful, and we both cried during the vows. The sand ceremony was funny. DS chose the pink sand instead of the green or white so everyone had abit of a laugh about that.

Photos were heaps of fun down on the beach and we had a full moon, so they should be nice. Reception was great. Speeches were awesome. DHs made me and i think everyone else cry and dads rocked too. My BMs got up too and I cried then, and in the Best mans, and so on and so on! lol I was happy with my cake and the centrepieces werent as high as I was stressing about! I loved them actually.

I never realised I had so much to say!

I have barely any photos, but I will try to scrounge some half decent ones up for you all!

Ohhh Karls that sounds like you all had the most beautiful day. I can't wait to see the photos when do you get them back. I'm glad you've had a great time and everyone was touched by the speeches. Take care and can't wait to see photos. xo

Congratulations!!! I'm am so pleased everything was so absolutely perfect for you. You know what they say - a picture tells the story of a thousand words...so we can't wait to see them...
