Introducing myself and some pics

Hi,

I have been lurking on this forum for quite some time and have never posted!

I've been engaged for about 18 months and I'm getting married on May 9 2009. My FH and I have been have been together for coming up on 9 years!

I've been planning the wedding for a few months now and am slowing getting things organised I think! I have got my dress, shoes, jewellery. I've booked the venue (ceremony & reception at same place), booked the photographer. I've got all my stationery (vista print rocks!) and started on the decs & bonbonnierre. Also have just started chatting with a celebrant too, so things are well on their way. Also have nearly booked the makeup artist and have a hairdresser lined up to ring. I reallly want to start BM dress shopping, but my MOH (my little sis) is in London at the moment and is due home dec 22. So after she gets home, wel'll be hitting the shops with a vengeance. My BM is trying to get pregnant so that could prove a challenge as well!

Hopefully I've done this right, never used photobucket before. Anyways what you can see here is my shoes, oh these are so gorgeous! I bought them from Ebay they came from America, luckily bought them while the exchange rate was excellent, not so good now!

The next pic is of my invites. Then the next one is a posy of foam-roses that I will be having my BM's carry. They are from spotlight and sooo cheap and look absolutely fab!

The next one, (most important lol!) is my dress! I got this on sale and it cost me less than $800!

The next one is of the wedding jewels i have bought. A choker & matching bracelet, sort of to match up with the kind of sparklies that are on the shoes. Oh if you look closely you can see my engagement ring, which has since been lost ! It was not insured and I had be meaning to get it resized cause I have lost about 25kg since i was proposed to! But good news, I have got a new one on lay-by!

I can't wait for my big day! Over the last three years I have lost 53kg and am waiting to wow everyone on my big day!

OMG Congratulations on your weight loss you look great!! 53kg is a whole person... whats your secret??

Thanks for the welcome!

Unfortunately (and I think all girls deep down know this :() There is no secret to weight loss! It's all about eating right and exercising! It's been a very hard slog and I've given up at times and gone a bit backwards. But with my goal weight only 10kg or so away, I'm very determined to get there before my wedding day!

Hi Felicia, Welcome to BTB (Officially that is - as you have been here as a guest). It sounds like it is all coming together. Sorry to hear you lost your engagement ring - you were only meant to lose weight. I hope that the replacement is comparable.

I've lost 5 and have another 8 at least to go and am on a plateu at the mo and its nute!!

HURRAH!!! I FINALLY HAVE A WEDDING TWIN!!!

Okay so I am getting married on the 8th, not the 9th, but close enough!!

You are MILES ahead of me Felicia....ooooh....but hopefully you can motivate me to catch up a bit!

OH I am SO excited, it's so nice to have a twin!!!!!!!
