Just wondering if you have any suggestions for nice wedding/reception locations in or around Adelaide?

Hi Flic, we're getting married at Sunnybrae Function Centre, in the gardens and then having the reception in their function rooms.

What kind of number would you be having? Do you want indoors or outdoors? And do you have a budget yet?

I've never seen Sunnybrae, i'll have to check it out. Do they have a website?

We're hoping to have around 100 for the wedding, although it may end up being closer to 150. Outdoors preferably, although we wouldn't mind indoors. Absolutely no idea about a budget!

Hey Flic - we are having our ceremony in Osmond Gardens on South Terrace - next to the Himeji garden, which is BEAUTIFUL but has a guest limit of 40...so we are marrying outside the fence and having piccies done inside!!!

Hey Flic, friends of ours got married at Sunnybrae and it was lovely, it depends on how many guests you are having at the wedding, budget and what type of ceremony you want, ie minister or celebrant.

Well, you already know mine, but I'll put it down anyway. We are having a very similar package to Danica, but at Mclarens on the Lake (in Mclaren Vale). We are having the ceremony on the grounds and then pre dinner drinks and the reception. We are having a buffet dinner with a 4 hour drink package (plus 30 min pre dinner). Included is, ceremony, reception, cake, dj, centerpieces, chair covers and wedding night accommodation with breakfast.

i would suggest getting the my wedding (SA vendors only) magazine. They have a few reception venues in there.

So FH and i went around on the weekend to everywhere we could think of and we think we may have found the place Ayers House Functions - Adelaide South Australia in the Brasserie. Has anyone been to a function there and if so what did you think of it all?
