Well i thought maybe i should share some stuff i have done and where i am at.

We got engaged last march while on a trip to Margaret River (WA)I had a funny feeling he was gonna do it that weekend,even though i was kinda expecting it,i still cried and was in deisbelief lol. Didnt set the date until the start of September and decided on March 26th next year,almost a year to the day of our engagement..want to get married sooner rather than later so we can have babies lol.We were going to do it first but ended up this way!

So so far I have done a lot considering i had NO idea what i wanted when i set the date.Had to get organised becasue i dont and didnt have to long to plan the wedding.

We booked our venue,photographer,reception dj,celebrant,decorator,organised wedding bands,ordered my gown,ordered bridesmaid gown,organised hire for suits for groom and best man,booked cake,booked hair and make up,booked flowers (she is doing my make up and flowers) ordered my veil.phhhew.
My venue wants my final numbers on the JAN/FEB crossover which i think is way to early and i have no idea why,so the invites are being made now.Was gonna do them myself but i really didnt want to deal with the added stress.As we all know with life,health,work,xmas etc,wedding plans can be soooo stressful! So didnt want another thing on my plate.

Will be hanving dance lessons foir our bridal waltz.I am currently going through songs for our ceremony and reception.I cant seem to find many,i love music,but i listen to alternative/hard rock etc so i didnt want anything to tacky..well not tacky but softer music just aint me! mind you i do love bon jovi and will be having bryan adams somewhere in there.We are not going to have a bouquet toss or garter toss,we dont have a lot of single friends so didnt really make sense.

I have to start looking for some shoes,waiting on the store i got my dress from to get some new jewelery in so i can get that. I am having a feather/crystal hairpiece,not a tiara. my bouquest will be cream roses with cream feathers.my reception chair sashes are fucshia pink,as is my sisters bmaid dress.

I have attached some pics of my dress,the centrepiece pretty much like what i am having and a similar bouquet to mine.

Well i have my jewellery now.We also saw our celebrant last night and started organising the ceremony.We have to pick out some vows or make our own.Think we might make own own.It has always felt real but I am starting to get really excited! Its only just over 3 months away.

My bridemaids dress is due in before xmas and mine is due early feb.We have to arrange our pre wedding photos too in the next month or 2.Our honeymoon is booked and looking forward to that too.Picked up the invites yesterday which i have to double check then they can be sent.

Yay all coming together and getting excited!

time is going past so fast.cant believe how quickly its coming around.
We had our first dancing lesson this week and our pre wedding photos at the beach with our Rotty Major. Had my hair trial that night,was sooo windy at the beach but it still held up well.I have attached a pic.I wont have the flower in my hair but a crystal hairpiece with a cream feather and my veil. let me know what you think!
Meeting with the venue this week to go over everything.
I have invested in a diary,so many appointments and things to do,and its been soo helpful!

Sometimes i want the day just to be here but have to remind myself of what an exciting time in our lives it is,and I will never do it again!(plan a wedding) so I am making the most of it!

Meeting with our venue tonight to go over everything from seating plans to menu.
Dropped off my engagement ring today so it can be finished with my wedding band and make sure it fits together properly.

Booked the cat in to the cattery while we are on our honeymoon.

We will be putting our boxes for our favours together with ribbon and place cards this weekend.Already started but only 40% done.

So I think I am going well,dont feel really stressed except for the muck around with my dress,hopefully it all works out ok! Not having a bustle on my dress afterall,Just going to have the wrist strap.

I picked up my dress today! Ended up getting the bustle,so we can dance a bit easier and it turned out well.I spoke to the manager a few weeks ago and she cut down the cost of alterations aswell. Happy with the end result.

Also picked up wedding bands and they are great,will get them cleaned before the day.

The bucks day was last sat and everyone had fun.My hens is this sat and looking forward to it.

Boxes are completed except for about 4 but that is nothing to worry about.Really just have to catch up with the decorator,make up/flowers and cake maker.seen eve ryone else.Then final week just ring to confirm everything.

I am actually getting excited now,really looking forward to it.Cant wait to put my dress on and feel a million bucks and cant wait to see his face when he sees me! Maybe I should start practising my signature! only 17 days to go!

Well 2 weeks to go today.I bought my perfume (Vera Wang bouquet) today.Also finalised everything with our cake maker.Having my hens night tomorrow night.Just a small one though.I also picked up my dress lasy tuesday.

I cant wait for our honeymoon!!!!

I am looking forward to seeing his face when he sees me walking down the aisle hehe
