we only had 70 people at our engagement party and are looking at about 75 for our wedding (few people who were interstate/ overseas that couldn't come for e-party) but we invited everyone who we expected to invite to the wedding as my mum had taught me that was the way it was done! :P

thats what i did too... heaps of ppl invite many ppl to their engagement but not everyone to their wedding... everyone who was at my e-party is on my wedding list... plus more lol...
