My wedding story.. No PIC's yet.

Friday Night

Matt, my mum, my MIL & I attended the reception to set it up at 5pm. We got the chair cover lady in and put it all together... It made it all a little real - but still didnt feel like i was getting married in 21hrs.

The girls come over to my parents house and we ordered in chineses. Once dinner was finished - one of BM started steaming all the dresses, my Chief BM went and wrote her speech, while My 3rd BM & I got everything out to make sure we had everything...

We all sat around talking and having a few glasses of champagnes, before 2 of my BM's and my daughter headed off to bed.

I realised i had forgotten the music - so i sat up putting the CD's together till 12.30am. Before my 3rd BM & I headed off to bed ourselves.. we then talked until 1.30am.

Wedding Day

We awake at 6.30am - we all had showers and got dressed. At 7am the hair & make up ladies arrived. We made everyone coffees and the ladies started working on 2 of my BM. Mum & I made some toast and i sat back to relax a bit before it all got hectic... we kicked my dad out of the house at 8am to drive my car to the hotel where we would me staying that night. The hair lady placed us all in curlers.
While we waited - we cracked open a bottle of champagne and added strawberries & Watermelon..

At 8.30am - my MIL arrived. By this stage the make up lady had started on my make-up. She finished just in time for florist to arrive with our flowers.

I then seemed to blink and it was 12pm - All hair & make-up was done (Including my 2yr daughter - who i thought wouldnt let us touch her hair) and it was time for the girls to get dressed. So the girls all got their dresses and shoes on.

At 12.30pm - the video arrived - they took some shots in the room of all my belongings and then did a few of us entering room to get me ready etc. At 12.45pm - Photographer arrives - and it time for me to get dressed. This took ages to get me laced into my dress - Photographer takes a few photos of me & the girls.

1pm - My grandparents arrive

1.30pm - It time to come out of the room to show all the finished product.. Cars arrive and i start to stress. By this stage my daughter has nappy rash and is in a very upset stage so i start to get really worried about her and teary. I have some time to have a few family shots with parents, grandparents and my daughter..

Next minute it's 2.20pm and its time leave. we have a few shots of me getting in car and leaving. My mum seats next to me - squeezing my hand (shes alot more nervous then i am.)

we arrive at church and as we drive up the driveway - i start to cry - its finally become real. The next 10mins is a blurr. Its finally time to enter the church and watching my little princess walk in before me was so amazing - and then her screaming "hello everyone" calmed me down heaps.

So i walk in and see all my family and friends and i was SO happy - i look down the aisle and see my man - and im so happy that this day has finally come. The vows are done and while the readings are done - my little girl is running around entertaining the audience. hehe.

We do the sand pouring ceremony - which not many people had seen but everyone commented how wonderful it is.. And its finally time to sign the register - We surprised the 2 mothers - with asking them to be our witnesses... And its time to be announced as husband and wife. Which was fantastic.

We go out and have a few photos before jumping in the cars to head the reception for photos - Once i jump in car - the first problem arises - the cars are stating they aint booked for as long as we've planned - So i get stuck on the phone to the owner before coming to an agreement to pay $100 cash to drivers for extra time (orginially wanted us to pay extra $350)

We have photos with cars and send 1 home and the other the the local club to pick up the parents.
It was then time to have some fun with the videographer and photographer ( I can't wait to see pictures)

parents arrive and we have family shots. Before 6pm arrives and guest start arriving. So we head around back for photos.

The reception was alot of fun - we were surprised by our reception organising our guest to sing a group song to us, a family friend who is a professional singer - singing us 3-4 songs, some beautiful speeches and an overall wonderfull night all round.. Female guest were surprised when the bouquet toss was done - we actually had individual roses tied togehter and i un-did them before tossing back the flowers. Before i knew it - It was 11pm and its time for us to leave.

We said good bye and headed into our limo - for the hour trip to wollongong novotel.
