Newbie getting married in October 2011
Hi all,

I am new to this forum and forums in general!!

Got sent a link to a post from here and loved the idea of sharing ideas, experiences, advice, etc. with other brides.

I'm engaged to my partner of 4 years and we are planning to get married in October 2011. It a long engagement as I have already been engaged for 7 months!!

Been this long as we had issues over what state to have the wedding in but think we have finally decided on state and are now considering venues!!

Not much planning has happened in the last 7 months!

Think we may have finally settled on a wedding in Canberra. Now we are starting to look at venues.

Thinking a garden ceremony but I am worried about what to do if it rains.
