you will. I still look at him now and think how things have changed for me in the last few years but you'll still have ups and downs as we've had them now over money and the gardening. Only fights newley weds can have. deep down I love it really

I agree marriage does make u closer for sure, i cant explain it...i didnt think we could get any closer, but u really can!! its like a different, special bond hey?
PJ when you said this, I can offer an explanation. I don't believe I've mentioned it here, but my FH and I are Christians, and we fully believe what it says in the Bible about after marriage, two people become one flesh. A lot of people believe that it just means when you have sex, but it actually means in your whole lives. You are no longer a person on your own, you have to think of someone else, and they have to think about you. It is all about becoming one, and I can't believe that this will be happening for me in a little over 3 months!

As someone who was an atheist, then Christian, and now agnostic, I totally see what you mean.

Apparently Bert and Patti Newton have "Two have become one" from the Bible engraved in their wedding bands. I see a lot of truth in that!

Marriage was a HUGE change for DH and I... we didn't live together until we got married.
I lived with my family in the family home, and he lived with his brother and mate.
So marriage to us meant finally living together, having all our stuff there together in our home, not having to go from my place to his place...
it has honestly been the best 2.5 yrs of my life.... sometimes i still can't get over that i live with him, we cook together, go to bed together in our own bed, .... marriage really is an amazing bond.

we've just had 4 months since the wedding, we were rough a few weeks after, coming down from the wedding and honeymoon hype to go back to work and settle into normal boring life, but now we are just thriving - we prefer time together than with anyone else ... pair of hermits we are these days.
