I was asking my local postie if they had anything as they have moving kits that are free and they give you a list of all the places you need to informa of a change of address - he made a good point - the list will be the same ppl - it's just different info you need to give them - and their pack is free (doesn't come with forms though)

Hey girls. I got married over seas and haven't had a problem at all changing my name. All I did was send a certified copy and a covering letter to medicare and they sent me a new card with my new name. same for all the banks and electrical. With that it gives you your 100 points to change you name on your license then giving you enough to change your name for a pass port. Its all been really easy actually. Just need to know how to word your covering letter then no questions asked. Centerlink didn't even ask me for a copy i just called them told them i'm married and they changed my name. All i have to do now is work to get my name changed on the badge. so really if you do things in order you shouldn't have any problems. Any questions just ask. Best of luck
