I didn't have an engagement party so I got out of that!

lol i totally forgot to send mine for my engagement... so i called ppl lol

I ended up printing up a generic thankyou, that I ran 3 different times with a different wedding pic on each, then I just shuffled them up and sent off to each couple. This way they got a picture and a personalised message that came from us. I printed them on photo paper so they were glossy and attractive. My aunts and grandmothers still have theirs stuck on the fridge. They were classy and a big hit.

I was going to use vista to do a postcard with our photos on the front that way it's a photo, personalised note, cheap and quick all in 1 but FH wants to give everyone a copy of the wedding photos on disk so they can print up the ones they want - I'm actually not a fan of this idea. Think we'll be sticking to vista print

I just got mine today through vista print, totally happy with them. Including postage they worked out at something like 20c each, gotta be happy with that! Happy with the quality and speed as well, I would definately use them again (PS If you are going to use them, sign up for their newsletter as there is ALWAYS free offers for the postcards, you only have to pay for uploading the image and postage).

Sorry, bit of a novel- I'm all excited! I have already written out of immediate family ones as my snapfish album ALSO arrived today (I swear, I could have kissed the postie I was so excited) so we can give them both together with a DVD slideshow and printing CD I have made. yay!

I use vista all the time I do get a bit sick of their emails but yep they're good quality and cheap. I got my snapfish album (our story so far) on Thursday was very happy with it but even with the discount it was still expensive. A photo place near here yesterday quoted me $24.95 each for 3 A4 hard cover albums and $14.95 for 2 A5 soft cover - that's only $5 discount on each plus no postage cost. Even kodak is cheaper than snapfish so I'll be going elsewhere next time
