Photographers - Brisbane

Hi Ladies

i'm in a little bit of stress, after reading what other girls get in their packages, I think maybe I am being ripped off, and was hoping that someone could possibly give me some leads for a photographer in Brissy.

My package:
$2750
-engagement shoot
-pre-wedding pics at both groom & brides houses
-Wedding pics
-Beginning of Reception
-20 sided album
-1 engagement photo
Photos are copy righted which means we can't keep all of them, and if I want additional sides in the album its $145 a side and the only do packs of 10 or 20 more sides, so add $1450 or $2900 for more of my own wedding pics.
They are award winning and stuff but I am I being ripped off?
I want a CD i can print my own copies of later on!!

Any suggestions?
We have only paid $295 deposit so far...

OMG is all I can say! I am not getting prints or anything, but am getting CD's of every single photo taken. ALso, my photographer will be with me for as long as I want.
all for $450.
She is excellent too, before someone plays the ' you get what you pay for' card.

Now, Are the pics that this photographer have taken previously mind blowingly awesome??
Cos if they are, and you are really keen on this photographer, then don't stress too much on the cost, especially if you can afford it;)
Most people say that they spend a huge amount on pics and photographers for their wedding anyway.

We are paying $575 for our photographer. That includes him for 5 hrs, everything on disc with NO copyright, a range of coloured, black n white, spot colour, and sepia shots and up to 300 shots on the disc -- he will take more than that but will choose only "the best".

He is fantastic!! Shots are great. Made us feel welcome and not silly for asking the small questions. And he has a similar sense of humour to us so our meeting was fantastic!!

I'm in SA so i cant really help you. But i personally wouldn't go with them I would look for someone else who can give me more for around that same price.

I got married in Sydney

I got -

- all photos on disc
- Unlimited photos
- Photographer till the end of reception
- $300 x2 towards parents albums
- $600 towards our album
For about $3200

I think it sounds good Ingrid. As long as you are happy with their photos and reputation. We are paying $2,000 which included a 10% 'mate's rates discount'. We get
2 photographers all day from start to finish
post-production for all images
high res CD of all images
DVD slideshow
The main thing with us is the photographer has an outstanding reputation and it is one of the most important aspects of the day we want to spend $$ on- besides the fact that we will become husband and wife.
