pink and black theme

hi all im new in here just thought id say hi. Also Iam getting married on august 30th this year and was wanting some opinions on black bridesmaids dresses to go with my dress which is pink and white..sort of a pale pink. How can i input pink into the dresses to make them match..if you get my drift..im just after some ideas..and should i have pink flowers for them and pink shoes or would it be to much??does anyone have any pics of a pink and black wedding theme?

I think this will look awesome!

If your dress is pink and white, I think I'd put the bridesmaids in black, and I'd give them perhaps a pink sash to match your dress, or pink fascinators (or both!)

I think it will tie it all in well if you all carry the same flowers, maybe yours with extra stems? I'm thinking pink roses, tulips or lillies.

Other ideas:
- Pink petal toss
- Bridesmaids could carry black fans with a pink ribbon
- Either black favour boxes with pink ribbon, or pink boxes with black ribbon
- Black table clothes and chair covers, with pink flower centrepieces and pink chair sashes
- Black and pink floating balloon ceiling
- You can get roses or calla lillies that are so dark they are almost black - so black and pink flowers?
- Boys all in black suits, all with pink flowers to match, the groom with white accessories to match you and the groomsmen with pink ties? Hey, the groomsmen could wear black shirts too.

I just searched 'black and pink wedding theme' on Google images. Lots of wedding mags might have stuff too.

I think its such a funky theme! Nice and crisp and modern. There's also lots on 'chocolate and pink' that may help, just substitute chocolate for black. Oh, and there's also Tiffany theme/blue and choc that are clean lines, based on colour - you might substitute your colours there too?

thanks heaps..i looked in google but not in images.lol im not allowed to have a say in the car my partner said lol its his thing he wants v8's which is kool i need to find a pink one in town, lol. i was so confused as to what colours i was going to have but i have made up my mind for sure I LOVE those dresses!!

I loved them too, I reckon they are awesome! Plus, the girls can wear them again later, minus the pink sashes. I think they look really elegant!
