yeah i think deserts would be the best to!!

Well I don't think we'll have that problem, I do expect our photographers and other staff at the wedding to stay sober throughout the event...if not the pictures might come out quite weird too I'd guess. But otherwise your idea of doing it at your recovery session sounds good, all depending on what you want to do of course.

My TTD idea is the walk of shame look, tossled bed hair, running makeup, shoes in hand barefoot etc.... H2B and I are planning on doing it when we return from our honeymonn!
I suppose with that setup the recovery session would really be the right time, though I'm sure it will work well doing it when you get back from your honeymoon too. I can sort of picture how that will look, hair all over, running makup, stains on your dress and so. Are you planning on using any special setting for it ?

Perhaps you could assemble your wedding party for a get together to show them wedding/honeymoon pics, have lunch then get frocked up and TTD to say good bye to all the wedding hard work?
Yes that could be one idea. I'd really prefer if we can do it at the wedding and get as many as possible to join in on the fun, but if those plans fail for some reason, then doing what you suggested would be a good backup plan. Thanks for the idea!

Yeah that would be wild and crazy, quite messy but harmless even if you get it into your face and so. But it to look really wild I guess it should be stuff that will really show, also on me... maybe chocolate cake or mousse or strawberry or blueberry or something...

LOL! Mary Grace our photographer has friends birthday to go to after our wedding, she won't be drinking at our event PMSL!

We are planning to do TTD at one of 2 friends properties, one of them is function centre we are having RS at. We live in the McLaren Vale region so we have farms, grape vines, and sea all within 1km we will probably do a mix of all 3 as out photographer is keen to use some shots on her website. Might even jump in a barrel and squish some grapes in my dress.... there'll be no getting those stains out LOL!

Also photographer suggested after honeymoon as it will be spring, there will be more "life" in the shots and the light will be better...............

I get married 8 weeks TODAY! Lilly are you packed yet?

Oh, I love that one ! I'm sure you'll get some great pictures...can just picture a bride stomping grapes in her wedding gown and high heels ! What style is your dress ? Yeah I guess that one is truly trash the dress; I don't think you'll get those stains out, not if it's red wine anyhow! If you do it for a little while you can get a funny sequence of pictures, first looking pristine, then some stains at the bottom of your dress, then gradually more until you're pretty much all red!

It's not an idea that I can use though, no winery in the area..otherwise it sounds tempting...not sure if I could get all my friends to join in on that one though...

Was just going to say the same as Diamondbride. I would personally find it tacky to see a food fight happen at a wedding. Some people also pay a lot of money on outfits to wear to wedding and I am sure some would be mighty pissed off if they had dessert thrown at them, even if accidently.

Well I'm sure chocolate icecream would LOOK great and be fun to fight with... but I guess it will be freezing cold, especially if you get it in your hair and so. But maybe it would be ok if it's a really hot day!

Well I we'll do that it won't be in the midst of the the wedding. If it's to happen it will be at the very end of it all, late at night, and with probably just our closests friend around. I think that with our wedding party and my closest firends it would be pretty safe - I can't imagine that any of them would get upset at something like that. But to play it safe one can of course then do it in such a way that those who don't want to take the risk of getting hit will get a chance to move off from the action. Of course if you take part in the action you can't complain if you get messy, that's part of the game.
