I never got medication. For me it was seeing all the things I was missing out on and the things my kids missed out on the pushed me to face it head on. I didn't want to spend another day not being able to join in with my family.
So through sheer determination, a hell of a lot of support I am almost better. I found going out on quieter days (like the shops) with FH and just sitting and watching people and seeing they didnt even notice me helped. Deep breathing and counting to 10 slowly helped. I also spoke to someone in regards to why I was suffering from PTSD which is why I was suffering with the social phobia. I also knew my limits and then pushed them just a tiny bit at a time (while holding FHs hand lol). I think however it is a very individual problem to solve. Have you looked into why you suffer these problems. For me it was a delayed reaction to childhood issues. |
