We Found 'The One'

Ok so i mentioned in my introduction thread that we were looking for a new engagement ring, well we have been looking and looking and looking & allthough there are lots of really pretty rings out there there was nothing that popped out at us. Most we found were either too expensive or the diamond wasnt very good quality.

That was untill last night, we went into the store wanting to have another look at one we were concidering when i spotted another one. It was pretty much exactly what I had been looking for except the main diamond is a princess cut & i had wanted a brilliant cut.

I knew when the sales lady got it out though that it was the one I wanted & FH admitted that he liked this one alot better than the one we had been looking at. We had a look at the certificate & partner said that sealed the deal for him. Anyway, we asked them to get a quote on a matching wedding band & said we would think about it.

Then today we were near the store & i said lets just have another look, I also wanted to get the size again because i wasnt too sure on the size last night.
FH said no, not today, lets just go have a coffee with dad (his dad). I said no look, IF you decide to get something i want the size to be right.
So we went and got the sizing done again & while I was looking at other rings with his dad I realised he was up to something lol
Anyway he got it!!!
I can not believe it, im so excited!
They have to resize it so its not going to be ready for about 2 weeks! but omg! Im so excited lol

we haven't found one, but haven't been looking LoL
I always said i didn't want an engagement ring, just a band.
But we have been reconsidering lately, so i can imagine how excited you are at finding the right one :)

I know I can hardly sit still. Iv never ever had anything with a diamond in it. Im going to call FH mum later & see what she has to say. FH has already told her, but i can imagin her reaction on what it cost lol.
Yes I will definately be taking photo's, just hope i can get a decent one.

We actually got it back yesterday, which was quick & its sitting on the dining room table, still wrapped in its box & in the bag it came in lol.
All because I told FH that he had to give it to me 'properly' ( I was only joking! lol) so now I have been told I have to wait untill he is ready to give it to me!
