My Mood:
Wow I'm not an expert but I would have to say that $550 for all that is pretty good!

And Steph I love callia lillies, but apparently they can go up in price by double in december and the colour I wanted was even more and now that I know what dress I'm wearing and the BM it's not going to work in.

I haven't heard back about my quote yet but then I only did just see her the other day but might ring her next week as last time it took almost 3 weeks for the quote and I want to know before bubs comes along, like so many other things I want done and time is going to fast!

Steph those bouquets look stunning. I think you could still get away with it, but only if you want to. What other flowers are you thinking about having?

I thought I did ok with my flower budget. Guess I was really lucky with our centrepieces as my sister's friend was a florist and did them for us really cheap.

Tongue

Seeing I did my own Hair & Make Up, and Mum's and the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls, I went a little eccentric on our flowers and other things. Well, I saved so much money on Hair!
My son has Cystic Fibrosis and I would have loved to have had 65 Roses in my bouquet, but knowing that would be flippin huge, I opted for 65 Roses of Yellow and Red on the bridal table.

My Bouquet was done by Jenny owner of Florist Gump, it was almost exactly what I wanted. I wanted mostly orchids, as my Mum has 100's of them, but it was the a teeny bit early, so I had Silk Orchids. I like Lilliums, so had them too. Not big on roses, but she talked me into light lemon ones, and I wanted the Dodda (green spaghetti looking stuff) and voila! Frangipanis were another of my fave, but too early for them too!

I spent $550 on Flowers, I think, but Jenny was alot cheaper than other Florists, because my Husband coached her in Softball 20 YEARS AGO!!

Mum's spray was 2 orchids, brought tears to her eyes

and the Men had a small buttonhole rose
This is Joel Boy!

Jeslyn (my 3 yo) and Chloe Flowergirls had Dilly bags, purchased from Ebay

I was intentionally showing the car as well as the flowers. i dont have a good close up of their bags. Got the bags from Kays bags $20 and the flower thingyjig ws $15 ea, i think. Less formal than a bouquet! and they get to keep the bag!
