I thought OMG, balloons .. no way ... tacky ... BUT - these are so NOT tacky, they are quite impressive. Even just for like the gift table or wishing well table ... I do really like flowers or candles, but these are pretty cool too!!!

As soon as I saw the title of this thread I thought you were gonna get a pile of neg responses -the girls aren;t known for being fansof balloons as you can see so far - but you have won them over!!! LOL

I like it for your colour scheme - we had just a couple of bunches of helium balloons - because in the couple of weeks before our wedding Bee asked if there were gonna be balloons at "his wedding party" (reception) so I got enough for the kids...

I like them - and agree that they are better for the fact thatthey don;t block vision from one side of a table to the others like some elaborate floral centrepieces that end up being put on the floor by frustrated guests!

thanks guys - that was an interesting read through, I appreciate your honesty! I think it kinda suits my theme and I know the kids will love them. Found out how much they were though and for the size in the pic (which is 1 metre!) the cost was $75!!!!! WAAAAAAYYYYYYY to much!! might hafta downsize or not have as many . . . will also get prices at other balloon places too just to make sure!

Hun if it what you want GO FOR IT, Its your wedding. No such thing as right or wrong when it comes to weddings.
Like i said before I really really like them.

Is it a possibility you could DIY?

wowzer $75 thats pricey definetly diy it is possible. i am not really a fan of balloons but im looking at having some form or balloon area or something for the couple of kids coming just something to make it special for them as well
