i'm not into skulls or everything black and depressing. my dress will be white with black lace, i think im designing it. i love this dress on evanescence film clip for "call me when your sober". its tartan in the clip and i will change a few things but its my inspiration.
by bridesmaids in black. flowers will be red roses. i want to arrive in a horse and carriage. i want a black hooded cape aswell incase it gets cold. probably not typical wedding music, im thinking alot of evanescence, metalica, and instrumental (my fiance is incharge of music). and my fiance wants a skeleton cake topper (im unsure lol).
oh and im wearing knee high white lace up boots because im not the best in hells and i love chunky boots.

sounds lovely!! you could incorporate some dodda vine etc into your flowers too to give it more of an edgy look? The vine can also be used to create a more vintage look, but i think that with your whole theme it would look more 'mysterious & edgy'...

Hey I like that vine Brigie, its awesome!

Wendylady I love your ideas - I think you've got heaps of options that would look great! I think candles would work well as a winter/Gothic favour, and you could have unity candles in your ceremony.

Actually a handfasting would be a nice touch.

I did indeed and I am happy to share photos if you are interested. Our wedding wasn't really gothic inspired but it might help to see some of my wedding things to see how well black and red go together
