I've been to about 3 weddings at Stockade and 1 at Sferas we looked at them for our reception! Tip for Stockade if you are having it filmed - make sure there is a mic on or right next to you and FH as the water fall is really loud. Of the 2 I attended that got filmed there you can't here anything at the ceremony because of the water. That is such a great spot! And Sfera's OMG they are masters they do a fantastic job never heard anything but rave reviews about them! We did think about it (I grew up in GG) my family is up that way. We lived at Glenelg and my bro got married in the church there too (in the church in the round about near the coles car park down the bay) but we live down sth near McLaren Vale now so we decided to have it at a local winery. FH's family are coming from Vic so we figured my family could travel too and we're making a weekend of it! We're putting on buses to get everyojne from the bay to McLaren Vale. We're staying at the Peir on our wedding night! You'll get the most stunning photos at both places!

oh wow sally that is a great idea about the buses. we also have a lot of family coming from vic. Where abouts are all yours staying? I thought i might need to sugest them about a hotel or something but feel really rude telling them to sort it out.

I also have actually been told about the waterfall, we are away from it though. But when i went a few weeks ago to have a look at it again. The waterfall wasnt running! I dont know if it is something they stop in like a hot summer, (?) but i hope it is back running again for my wedding. LOL although i must admit i hate the big fence around it. And at sferas i cant wait to have a couple of pics on the big staircase they have out the front.
