That's really good lilrose. We're paying $2450 for the photographer so I don't want to fork out heaps for the videographer but it looks like it may be around $1200 - $1600 for something decent. I've just been in touch with a family friend who does videography and she's going to send me through some prices and info so here's hoping she's a good price and good at what she does!

We didn't have one either but we have a copy of what a friend of ours filmed and we love watching it. He shows us the windows and church floor, he claps with it in his hands etc. It is very much him and we love that aspect of it.

My lil (if you call 6 foot of 19 year old lil) bro is doing ours - he is amazing at graphics, camera work (still and vid) and is looking to do a degree in media commencing next year, so I think he'll do nicely thankyou!!!! We don't want the whole day dealy - just the ceremony from when I arrive to the announcement, and the speeches and dances and anything else that takes his fancy - we have a HD vid camera so he's just gonna use that!! We aren't the type to watch it over and over, so not worth forking out thousands for us.

Sorry to hear this Jen and you should be understandably upset. I would be interested to hear if the videographer explained why this was the case and what let this situation to occur?

Ok so I've got a family friend (pro) doing our videography. For $1300 we get:

*two cameras*
grooms house
brides house
ceremony
photo session
reception until 9

I'm really happy with this price because for all those locations we were looking at $2000 with someone else.
