Welders/Boilermaker grooms
Wow, its come out the last few days that some of our FH's are welders/boilermakers.
Brad is a boilermaker with a large company. He does all the speciality highrises etc etc...They need more people to work for the company Overworked and underpaid...!!!!If only he had the courage to ask for a payrise...they have an EBA...but they CANT let Brad go cause they'd have nobody left...so they'd have to give more money ![]() So who's guys out there do the lovely (or not so lovely as FH tells me) job of boilermaking?? My darling made this for me for my bday last year out of steel after seeing it in a display home and i fell in love and now it hangs on our lounge room wall! ![]() Heheh had to boost!! Im so proud! ![]() Last edited by ~NoLongerMissK~; 04-09-08 at 04:09 PM.. |

Brad did an awesome job, it looks lovely, will have to show Ashley. He works for a company that manufacturer utility bodies but welded aluminium during his apprenticeship. My Dad quite often tells him to finish his TIG certificate so he can get work at the Submarine Corp (they are located in Adelaide and work on the defence contracts & offer excellent conditions). One of my good friends from school who I share my birthday with is married to a welder so when they met for the first time they had a nice old chat about jobs and all Ashley and his cousin talk about when they are together is their jobs which is kind of like welder language lol as my friend calls it. It is pretty amazing that a number of us have FHs that are welders though

FH is a boilermaker, he has been working for the same company for 12years now and is the foreman.
He works on mining equipment and sandblasting/abrasive blasting equipment (and lazy apprentises lol) |
