what is a reasonable?

Ok so I have a few quotes ('starting from' prices). I liked one woman I met at an expo, and the manager/ MC at my wedding venue, as well as my photographer have both recommended her. She had some hair styles in her folio that I thought would work for me. Her prices are $90 hair/ $90 makeup, so $180 all up, or something like $165 each for 3 people (me, BM and MOH). Can't double check that figure since DF is hogging the computer that has my email on it.

Anyway just wondering where this price falls on the scale. Does it seem reasonable/average for someone with a good reputation? a little on the pricy side? or way overpriced? I have some quotes that are a fair bit cheaper but have no idea of the standard of their work, I've also seen several that are pricier. Is this a case of you get what you pay for or could a cheaper one be just as good or better?

To put this in context, I am a 'get a trim / have layers re-done every few months' kinda girl. I never get my nails done or fake tanned or any of that stuff, so I'm totally clueless as to who to go to, but don't want to spend a heap on trials from different people.

I think it sounds really reasonable.

And if you have never spray tanned, then don't for your wedding day, or at least have a trial first.

It is a good price for someone with a good reputation.

I'm paying roughly $66 per head for my makeup and getting another lady to do my hair at roughly $71 per head. I had them both reccommended to me by different people and I was really happy with the trials.

I think it's reasonable as well. :) I paid $150pp for both hair and airbrush makeup. Goodluck with your search! :)

We paid $130 each person for hair and air-brushed make up for our wedding.... I think what you have been quoted is great!! especially if you like what you have seen....

If you are not a spray tan girl, then I wouldn't worry bout one just for your wedding... but if you want your nails done, then I suggest getting them a month or so before your wedding so you will be used to them by the day.

I think the prices are reasonable too. I cant remember the exact figures i payed for each girl but all up i think it was around the $1000 mark for hair & make up for me, MOH, BM, Mum, MIL & then just hair for the two flowergirls (one had a tiny bit of pink eye shadow but it was free)
