That would be so cool but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Are you planning on really going for it ? Or you just think that it's cool ?

I think it would be cool too ! And I could surely bring myself to doing it too Playing with paint is one of the options that I've been thinking of. It's sort of the ultimate crazy thing, go and play with paint when you're in a $ 12 k outfit... There are a couple of drawbacks though. One is that if it's real paint I'll need paint thinner or something to get it out of my hair or off from my face afterwards. The other thing is that I'd love our whole wedding party and maybe some of the guests as well to join us in whatwever kind of crazy thing that we'll go for and if we will go as radical as playing with paint it might be too hard to convince the others!

I don't mind TTD. But I plan on giving my girls the option of wearing my dress for their weddings...

If I was to do it, I like the idea of the paint - the style of dress I have means I could alter it so the train wasn't there and could rewear it if it was multi coloured!!

Well my dress is very wedding-wedding sort of so that wouldn't work...but maybe if this catches on then multi-colored wedding gowns will be the new style !

A while ago I saw a video clip on the web from another radical TTD: there were several scenes and in the last one the groom spray painted right on her dress: first a red hearth on the side, then 'just married' on the back of her big poufy skirt. So there are a number of couples whp go for the radical ttd methods... I'll post the link here if I can manage to find it again!

I guess the only thing to watch out for if you do that is that you spare your wedding rings - it might be hard to get them clean afterwards and you don't want them trashed! Everything else is ok for me anyhow but not the rings!

Id love to play with the paint ad have him write random things on me! That would be awesome!

I dont know I jus know I dont really like my dress all that much and am wearing it as its too late to change it!

So I cant wait to trash it and I wont be needing another wedding dress ever so wh keep it! We have two sons... Oh and Ill keep the Veil If I do have girls!

That should be quite easy to set up. You could either use spray paint, or marker pens or just regular paint and a thin brush. A few love messages or something in different colors would work... It will definitely do the job and trash your dress, since you don't seem very fond of it. Just save the veil then if you want to keep that one ! How about the rest, shoes, gloves (if you're wearing them) and so ? As I just posted earlier, whatever we'll decide to do I'll make sure that our rings will be ok, but everything else will be game for the ttd, veil, shoes, gloves, purse, jewellery (other than the rings); the lot. If we get wet or muddy or have a food fight or something then the rings are safe anyhow, it's only if we'll decide on using paint that I'll need to watch out a bit.
