All communication leading up to our wedding was wonderful. She was attentive, listened to everything we wanted and couldn't do enough to settle any worries that we had. She was great at our wedding and we even received a CD at the end of the night with every photo that she had taken on it. After that wedding though, everything changed... We were supposed to receive our photos within a couple of weeks, well after a couple of MONTHS of me hounding her, they finally arrived in the mail. The prints we had ordered were exactly the same as the ones that we have digital copies of and hadn't been altered or corrected in any way. It might sound picky, but there are certain aspects of the photos that I am rather unhappy with too, we have many shots of the same pose and background, which is fine because they are all slightly different in lighting, but one has a empty Jim Beam can on the sand near my DH foot, and another has a block on concrete in front of mine. Also, when I take photos, I always check to see that my subject is standing straight and their hair is in place, but this hasn't been done in any of our photos. I had a very slinky dress on and I made a concious effort to have good posture all day, but of course this wasn't always the case, so a lot of our photos aren't exactly "flattering" if you know what I mean! Picky, I know, but these are wedding photos and the photographer should be more than aware of all these things. And the DVDs, they were a complete dissapointment and can't be used at all. We had purposely bought more than was needed so as to give them to our parents for gifts, but unfortunately, due to many different factors, they remain in a draw. Here's just some of the things that are wrong with the disks: 1. Our wedding date is WRONG on them! 2. Music that we had asked NOT to use, has been used! 3. The music stops and skips throughout the DVD! 4. Every photo has been used (over 600), which means it goes for a VERY LONG time! 5. It is just a very simple slideshow, which doesn't even include nice transitions or zooming of the photos! I have since made my own DVDs which, if I say so myself, are MUCH better than her's! I have since been trying to contact Leanne, but she doesn't answer or return any of my calls or emails. I even contacted my venue and asked if they had any different details for her, but they only had the same ones as i did. They also told me that they no longer allow her services as they've had so many complaints from unhappy couples. Just before our wedding, our venue changed ownership and (reading between the lines) I knew that the relationship between Leanne and them wasn't fantastic, but they were both professional about it and I decided not to let it worry us. The previous owners gave us wonderful reports about her and we thought that it was just a difference of opinion because Leanne was used to having such an input with the old owners, but these ones wanted to do things their way. Leanne is a "budget" photographer, but in all reality, she really wasn't all that cheap! We didn't choose her because of her price, we choose her because of her recommendations and great service. Boy, were we wrong! Every other part of our wedding was perfect, and we are determinded that we won't let this ruin our memories. I mean, looking positively and all, we have our photos and most are very good. I would just hate for any other couples to have to go through what we had to.
