With 7 weeks to go till my wedding day I really wish I found Marziplanner earlier!! This is really amazing wedding planning software.

The installation of the software was easy, Marziplanner offer a free 7 day trial. Unlike other software Marziplanner let you try the full working program, no hidden areas that you can’t access.

When you first open Marziplanner it will ask you for all the important details – brides name, grooms name, wedding date and location. From there you are ready to explore!

The front page (wedding details) is really cute, I love seeing our wedding details and also a countdown in the bottom corner! 49 days to go!

I started with the event log, this is where you enter in all the important dates – engagement party, kitchen tea, hens party, bucks party, wedding ceremony, reception etc.

Using the calendar is easy! Press “add appointment” and enter all the details. There is room to add an email address to contact the supplier, when you click on the button next to the email address, it will automatically launch your default email client and is ready to compose a message with the email address already inserted.

The guest list is easy to manage. To add a guest/s press “add guest” and enter in their details including – name, contact details, partners details also select the events in which that person is invited to – Kitchen Tea, wedding ceremony, wedding reception etc. This makes it easy to organize and manage guest lists for each event.

With 100 things to manage and remember, the task list is excellent. It is already completed with all of the basics so all you need to do is add any extra you might have and mark them as completed when they’re done!

Keeping track of your suppliers is almost a full time job! Marziplanner have made it easy by allowing you to create a list of your suppliers. Adding suppliers is easy with easy access to all of their contact details, one click button to email or access their website.

The stationary mail merge is the best feature by far! If allows you to merge your guests details to easily create invitations, envelopes etc. It also shows you step by step easily how to create “do it yourself” stationary and invitations.

No matter how big or small your wedding is, keeping a budget is a must! The budget tracker allows you to know exactly down to the cent what everything will cost and how much is left to pay on each item and also add payments you have made.

The glory box is a nifty little feature, it allows you to create a song list for the ceremony and reception, with great suggestions and easy one click access to apple itunes where you can listen and download the selected music.

The R.S.V.P section displays all of your guests who have/have not sent R.S.V.P for each event. This will help when you need to chase people for an answer.

Now here is my favourite part of the whole software! The seating and floorplan section! It allows you to create an exact layout of your reception venue. You can insert virtual walls, tables and even your band or DJ! It really helps you to visualize the area and will also help with placement of things around the reception venue. Even 7 weeks from my own wedding this helped me and has made me change my mind on the placement of a few things. I love this feature!

The gift log is great and will help you to organize your gift register and keep track of who bought what, which makes sending thank you gifts easy!

The reports section make the planning easy! It will produce a report on almost everything! Including appointments, guest lists etc.

Overall Marziplanner is by far the best wedding planning software on the market and for the price If were you I would sack your wedding planner and purchase Marziplanner! I really wish I found this product 12 months ago, but since it is too late for me I feel it is my duty to share this with everyone!
