So who is The Besotted Bride?

That would be me, Katrina, although I’m a wife now (hurrah!) but still fanatical about all things wedding! I live in South Australia with my wonderful husband who I have been with for almost 9 years and our dream wedding was held in November 2009. I have worked in the Finance industry for years where my creative side has laid dormant, however planning our special day fired a spark within me.

I have finally realised my passion and thanks to the fabulous Jen and Brige, I have been given the opportunity to pursue this avenue further. I can blog about what I love all day now, what could be more perfect?! My poor hubby, family and friends, just when they thought all the wedding talk was over. Hehehe!

I am a proud wedding tragic and during my spare time I’m usually chatting on wedding forums, stalking wedding websites/blogs, gawking at wedding photography, flipping through wedding magazines, watching wedding programs and living vicariously through engaged friends! You could say I’m a tad obsessed – just a wee bit.

My aim for this blog is to provide you with inspiring ideas and useful advice and to share with you what I love about weddings! I’ve been there and done that myself, so I am someone who can relate to the experience and will always be here to offer enthusiasm, encouragement and support.
